Moodle is a resource for education and for library worlds that offer opportunities to communicate.  It is an open source tool that is used to develop online courses or portions of courses. It can be a repository of information as well as a communication tool.  By combining traditional library web sites with Moodle capabilities, the results would be enriching for library users. Examples might include

• Book Forums
• Reader / User surveys
• How to helps
• Online conferences
