One of the most interesting books I have read lately was patriot Hearts by Barbara Hambly. It is a novel about the "founding mothers" of the United States. It includes Martha Washington, Abigail Adams, Dolley Madison, and Sally Hemings. It shows the womans point of view of the new country, and all that they had to suffer through in supporting their men, and keeping their families together. It was not easy!! It was a fictionalized account, but I felt that I really knew these women when I was finished with the book.
Thanks. I'm adding this book to my next book order.
