This is the document that was submitted to Rebecca Patton for the Voluntary Certification Program Application for credit. Although it has been submitted, if you have comments they can be added to this page and we can incorporate it into our actual program.

November 29, 2007 Minnesota Library Certification Meeting (attended by Patricia)

Rebecca Patton asked me  to talk about 23 Things on a Stick, then I took questions from the group. Rebecca herself had been trying to do the Mecklenburg County one and got stuck, so never completed. She endorsed that if she would have had the support from fellow bloggers or coaches, she would have continued on. She was hesitant to send email to Helene Blowers so never finished. Great excitement by people on the call, and there was no hesitation in approving it for 12 contact hours and as meeting  Public Service and Technology Competencies.

p.s. Jonya Pacey was on the call and asked if someone like her who has already done all of the things can still participate. I told her of course and that her value would be in contributing to other peoples blogs to encourage and help them along. She was excited about that, and I mentioned the idea of possible Additional Challenges (if we have good ideas and writers). She is very interested in that piece of the work in addition to her cheerleader role of encouraging others along the way.
